Tips for perfect home spa

home-spa

Creating a home spa environment is easier than you think and it can bring peace and calm to your life when you need it the most. Indulging something you enjoy is a form of self-care that shouldn’t be forgotten.

1) Clean zen bathroom
This goes without saying but organising any products that are left on top of the sink or next to the bathtub don’t add any zen to the bathroom environment. A fresh clean bathroom is the base of a great home spa experience.

2) Create a relaxing atmosphere
Create a relaxing atmosphere by adding scented candles safely around the bathroom to create a dim lighting effect. Pick a scented candle by thinking what would you like to experience - uplifting, calming, refreshing or warming? Citrus scents are great for uplifting, chamomile and lavender for calming, eucalyptus for refreshen and spicy cardamom scent for warming. Add some calming music on the background from your phone and try to sense all these aspects with all your senses.

3) Nourish your skin with face masks
The face mask is a great way to treat your skin while relaxing in a bath. Use a face mask that suits your skin type or skin issues. At Eclat Skin London we have Charcoal Black Purifying Peel Off Mask that is created for skin with blackhead and blemishes and you can just use it on your nose or the T-area if you have sensitive skin. For dry skin use a hydrating mask or sheet masks. Hyaluronic acid and collagen are great ingredients to nourish dry and dehydrated skin. Try Eclat Skin London Hyaluronic acid and collagen sheet masks. Hydrogel under patch masks are a great way to hydrate and depute under eyes. We offer 24K Gold and Rose Blossom Hydrogel eye pads.... continues in our blog.

4) Nourish your body with water

Make a drink from sliced fruit or cucumber and still or sparkling water while you bath. This doesn’t only nourish your body, but also gives a nice scent around the water your drink.
